On March 22 we hosted another Greater Shepparton Veterans Group Gathering, with the largest turn out to date.

These monthly gatherings, traditionally held on the last Friday of the month, have been taking place since September with the goal of bringing local ex serving members, of all ages and services together.

It has been encouraging to see such a diverse group attend each month and we look forward to it continuing to grow in popularity and attendance. At each event we have giveaways, exclusive discounts in the bistro and a special Veteran’s Happy Hour (or 2) from 5 to 7pm.

Every few months, special days are scheduled with the next one being a race day in May, in conjunction with the Jane McGrath Foundation, which will help raise funds for Cancer research.

Please note that we will not be holding one in April due to Anzac Day when we encourage all veterans to come together to commemorate this special day.
