Introducing our Master Plan

Exciting times!

Exciting times lay ahead as we embark on our much anticipated Master Plan.

We promise to keep you up to date as we progress through each of the 5 stages with the time frame expected to be 18 months to 2 years.

We plan to have minimal disruption to the day-to-day opening of the venue, and we thank you for your patience during the building process.

We know you are going to love what we have planned and we cannot wait to unveil the all new Shepparton RSL Sub-Branch.

Stage 1: GV Veterans Centre & club administration

Completed.

The building next door was purchased in order to free up valuable space within the club.

It has recently been refurbished to house the Veterans Centre, club administration and our committee boardroom.

Stage 2: Reception and Entrance Foyer

Dates: March to September 2025

We are excited about the state-of-the-art features our new reception and entry foyer areas will offer when they open shortly.

Not only will there be ease of sign in for members, there will also be a special memorabilia area and a comfortable lounge area that you can use whilst waiting for friends and family.

Finishing touches are being made now and we hope to have the area open towards the end fo this month.

Stage 3: Main Bar, Members and Outdoor Alfresco

Dates: 1st Quarter of 2026 for approx 12 months

As we head into 2026, the next, even bigger stage of renovations will commence.

During this time, the main bar, members lounge, dance floor and TAB will relocate to the function room and the rear, right hand corner of the venue will be closed off.

Our outdoor expansion will also start. This new area will be perfect for the likes of Sunday Sessions with live music and access to an outdoor bar. There will also be an area for private gatherings and functions.

As with any renovation, and especially one of this scale, things may seem different to the norm but our General Manager, Grant, has vast experience with venue renovations, and together with our staff, will work diligently to ensure it’s 100% business as usual throughout the journey.

One thing for sure – it will 100% be worth it!
