The first Goulburn Valley Veterans Group “RSL Active” event was a Golf Day held at the Mooroopna Golf Club on Sunday, Feb 4.

The day was an outstanding success with 24 players and a handful of spectators. Given it was the hottest day of the summer, most who had registered played and we had some great feedback from all of the players. After a quick drink, we ventured back to the RSL to enjoy a BBQ lunch organised and cooked by Vice President Bruce Davis (thank you Bruce).

We would like to thank the ladies from Anzac House, Salina and Wendy , who are part of the RSL Active Team for their assistance with providing costs, prizes and registration. Also, a big thank you to our General Manager Grant for assisting before and on the day, together with our Committee Members Mark Stephens and Dan Gleeson for their assistance.

We will have more RSL Active Events coming up in the next 12 months.
